Participate in setting the architectural direction for software development projects. Stay current on browser/platform capabilities and traditional design & engineering disciplines. Maintain and continually expand upon expert knowledge of multiple languages, frameworks, tools, devices, applications, mobile devices and their capabilities 2+ years of experience as a Developer or similar role Experience with browser technologies: HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, JQuery, CSS Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, SQLite Experience with server-side languages such as PHP, Python, and Perl Capable of working independently on individual project components and with team members to integrate these components into a complete applications Rapidly identify and fix bugs; optimize performance in a constantly evolving live production environment Familiar with optimization strategies (caching, sharding, load-distribution, database replication, benchmarking) to keep the application running REALLY fast!
