Crane Rigger Level 1 is designed for participants to acquire the necessary skills to plan, prepare and complete rigging work as prescribed by the National Standard for the Licensing of Persons Carrying Out High Risk Work. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to move plant and equipment, erect steel, use hoists (including mast climbing hoists), place precast concrete, use safety nets and static lines, install perimeter security. screens, shutters and cantilever crane platforms.
This rigging training course is intended for personnel who assemble loads for lifting by cranes and their supervisors. Floor crane operators and other workers working with overhead cranes will benefit from this comprehensive and safety-focused Basics of Rigging course.

Hoisting and rigging training is designed to provide personnel with the knowledge to perform both offshore and onshore hoisting and rigging operations. On completion, delegates should be able to:
Calculate the SWL and WLL of the hinges,
Understand the safety factor of lifting accessories and equipment
Understand the requirements of applicable legislation for lifting and rigging operations
Perform inspection prior to use for hoisting and rigging operation
Recommend that the device and accessories be disposed of
Identify rigging and lifting hazards.
Familiarize yourself with the different types of lashing equipment used in lifting and rope operations.
Identify the types, characteristics and limitations of the use of lashing devices in lifting operations.
Understand the elements for calculating and sizing slings used for lifting and lashing
The Rigger and Signalman course is aimed at providing knowledge to individuals
and the skills to prepare and tie down a load for safe lifting with any form of lifting equipment,
using correct and clear signals to guide the crane operator in safely maneuvering the load to its destination. This is a compulsory course in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work (Operation of Cranes) Regulations for individuals who are commissioned to carry out lifting operations using a mobile crane or tower crane.
This basic training and signal person safety training course provides workers with the knowledge needed to be safely secured on a construction site. Class discussions and demonstrations will provide workers with the explanation needed to understand the stresses placed on rigging and loads during lifting operations.
