A land surveying professional is called a land surveyor. These points are usually on the surface of the Earth, and they are often used to establish maps and boundaries for ownership, locations, such as building corners or the surface location of subsurface features, or other purposes required by government or civil law, such as property sales.Surveying has been an element in the development of the human environment since the beginning of recorded history. The planning and execution of most forms of construction require it. It is also used in transport, communications, mapping, and the definition of legal boundaries for land ownership. It is an important tool for research in many other scientific disciplines. In whole of Pakistan 98% private and almost all the government institution are teaching out-dated course which is almost 30 years old which includes chain survey and plan table survey etc.so a student after completion of the course has to spend into 5 year of his life with a senior survey. Then he is able to coupe the modern age.Whereas in ICTE modern and updated standards of Europe and Middle East are met upon the latest equipment so they are able to easily pass test with in the country and also abroad and able to work efficiently in the field.Observe personal and equipment safety at work.Use and maintain minor surveying tools and instrument.Carry out setting and adjustments of surveying instruments.Perform linear and angular measurements with precision using conventional as well as electronic instruments.Prepare topographical map of a locality by using conventional as well as Electronic instruments. 6. Civil engineering and land surveying are the oldest, largest and most diverse disciplines of the engineering profession. The Civil and Surveying Technician with a land surveying emphasis may help plan, develop, layout, map and maintain: public works, land development, and transportation projects, horizontal and vertical control networks, and land and geographic information systems.Employment is available in surveying, mapping, land planning, plan checking and review, project administration and management. The land surveying and mapping professions continue to offer excellent employment opportunities. Opportunities are available in both public service and private enterprise, offering a wide range of career opportunities to satisfy individual interests, aptitudes, and goals. Employers generally report that it is very difficult to find applicants who meet their hiring standards. This indicates a very good outlook for qualified job seekers. The Civil & Surveying Technician may choose a land surveying, planning or mapping occupational path. Regardless of the choice of discipline, the career ladder is very similar. Some firms or agencies have more than one discipline represented.Students interested in a suggested order for taking classes in this program, can view the recommended course sequence. For students interested in a Certificate of Achievement, a Civil and Surveying Technology: Land Surveying certificate is available. The history of surveying started with plane surveying when the first line was measured. Today the land surveying basics are the same but the instruments and technology has changed. The surveying equipments used today are much more different than the simple surveying instruments in the past. The land surveying methods too have changed and the surveyor uses more advanced tools and techniques in Land survey.Civil Engineering survey is based on measuring, recording and drawing to scale the physical features on the surface of the earth. For different survey sites, different tools and survey equipment is used. The surveyor uses instruments for measuring, a field book for recording and nowadays surveying softwares for plotting and drawing to scale the site features. The earth appears to “fall away” with distance. The curved shape of the earth means that the level surface through the telescope will depart from the horizontal plane through the telescope as the line of sight proceeds to the horizon.Refraction is largely a function of atmospheric pressure and temperature gradients, which may cause the bending to be up or down by extremely variable amounts.Geodetic or trigonometric surveying takes into account the curvature of earth. Since very extensive areas and very large distances are involved, curvature of the earth has to be consodered. In geodic surveying highly refined instruments and methods are used for taking measurements. Geodetic work is usually undertaken by a state agency e.g. Survey of Pakistan. Surveyors work with elements of geometry, trigonometry, regression analysis, physics, engineering, metrology, programming languages and the law. They use equipment like total stations, robotic total stations, GPS receivers, retro reflectors, 3D scanners, radios, handheld tablets, digital levels, drones, GIS and surveying software. However, today, the basics of land surveying are same but technologies and instruments have changed. Therefore, we use advance tools, methods and techniques to train our students. When looking at the competitive perspective, currently in Pakistan 98% of Government as well as private institutions are teaching an outdated course outline for chain survey and plan table survey which means that their students are less competitive and unemployed in the market. 03315145601 Civil Surveyor Course in Rawalpindi,Civil Surveyor Course in Rawalpindi, Pakistan in Pakistan (Engineering Courses, Training, Diploma)Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore Civil Surveyor Course in Rawalpindi, Pakistan Surveyors and Civil engineers remain in high demand as construction booms in the world.Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.Surveying or land surveying is the technique, profession, and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. A land surveying professional is called a land surveyor. The main surveying instruments in use around the world are the theodolite, measuring tape, total station, 3D scanners,GPS/GNSS, level and rod. Most instruments screw onto a tripod when in use. Tape measures are often used for measurement of smaller distances. 3D scanners and various forms of aerial imagery are also used. The Theodolite is an instrument for the measurement of angles. It uses two separate circles, protractors or alidades to measure angles in the horizontal and the vertical plane. A telescope mounted on trunnions is aligned vertically with the target object. The whole upper section rotates for horizontal alignment. The vertical circle measures the angle that the telescope makes against the vertical, known as the vertical angle. The horizontal circle uses an upper and lower plate. When beginning the survey, the surveyor points the instrument in a known direction (bearing), and clamps the lower plate in place. The instrument can then rotate to measure the bearing to other objects. If no bearing is known or direct angle measurement is wanted, the instrument can be set to zero during the initial sight. It will then read the angle between the initial object, the theodolite itself, and the item that the telescope aligns with. Professional Qualified instructors.
