Listening The test takers will listen to 4-6 lectures of 3-5 minutes long. They will answer 6 questions for each lecture. They will also listen t0 2-3 conversation, each 3 minutes long. They will answer 5 questions for each dialogue. The section is of minutes long. Reading The Takers read 3-5 passages based on academic contexts. Usually the text is 700 words long. Test takers answer questions for each passage. The test time is minutes. Most of the questions are in MCQ format. Speaking There are 6 tasks in total. In first 2 independent tasks, test takers express an opinion on a familiar topic. Next 4 tasks are integrated. The speaking is based on what they have heard or read. The test finishes with in 20 minutes. Writing In a 50 minute test, test takers write an integrated task in first 20 minutes in which they listen and read on a topic first and then summarize the points. Task 2 is independent; here they write an essay of 300 words on a single given topic. Remember, there is no choice in writing section. Answer both the tasks by typing your responses on computer.
