Digital/analogue megger Mastech MS is used to measure insulation resistance in the current-carrying elements of high-voltage power networks. The device meets the requirements of IEC CAT II V standard. The measurement results are shown by means of a big pointer indicator with a mirror scale meant for increasing of measurement accuracy. The digital display shows output voltage. Since the insulation resistance testing requires high voltage (up to 2,5 kV), the Mastech MS uses a double confirmation system for test setup and control over operation.
