NOTES: Proform is a top of the line American brand for manufacturing exercise and fitness equipment. The motor in this unit is 2.0CHP, which is superior to a 2.0HP motor. CHP means continuous horsepower, which means that this machine provides at least 2.0HP at all times. Machines labelled only 2.0HP are talking about peak HP and go to a maximum power of 2.0HP, whereas this proform treadmill has a minimum power of 2.0HP. The belt does not require lubrication. We have had it professionally serviced and cleaned every year to keep it in top condition. This treadmill has been used only by my father, roughly 30 minutes a day of walking 5 times a week.
