Furthermore, Deduction of tax from salary and submission of Monthly and Annual Withholding Statements are also mandatory for the Persons paying salary. Non compliance may attract penalty of Rs.2,500/‐ per day for single statement u/s 182 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
