Feed specifications

Would you post for free your website or business advertisements?

Now is easy with Clasf. You only need to create an XML file, upload it to an URL and send it to us.

Once we have checked that the XML matches the features listed below, we will post your ads.

Classifieds specifications

Write a different title and description for each classified ad, since identical ads will be not validated.
At least 100 characters ads description.
The ads must be written in English.

Furthermore, it is important that the XML feed contains the contact data , and at least one email address.

Non-compliant ads will be not published. Moreover, in our Terms of Use webpage you can read our posting rules and which kind of content Clasf does not accept.

Feed configuration

Format: The feed must be in XML format.

Encoding: The character encoding must be UTF-8.

Sending the feed: We will download your feed periodically from the URL that you will provide us. We support compressed feeds in either .zip or .gz extensions.

Field specifications

Field	Type	Description
url(*)		This field must contain de ad URL or any other unique ID. Required field.
title(*)		Ad title. It must be enclosed in a < ! [ CDATA[ ]] > wrapper. Required field.
description(*)		Ad description. It must be enclosed in a < ! [ CDATA[ ]] > wrapper. It has to be larger than 100 characters. The HTML code is not allowed, exception made for the <br> tag. Required field.
price	Decimal number	Item price in the country currency, no symbol.
email(*)		Contact email. It will be used on the item page when a user clicks on the "Contact the advertiser" button. It must be enclosed in a < ! [ CDATA[ ]] > wrapper. Required field.
contact	Free text	Additional contact information, for example, a phone number. This information will be shown when a user clicks on the “Contact the advertiser” button.
city		City name where the ad is located (ie:Islamabad). Leave blank for the whole country. See the list of cities.
province		Province (or state/region) name where the ad is located (ie: Punjab). This field is related to the City name field. See the list of cities.
category(*)		Clasf category. See the list of categories.
pictures		url_img tag. You can include up to 5 url_img tags with their own urls.
url_img		Ad Image URL. We will download the image directly from that URL. You can upload up to 5 images per ad. It must be enclosed on a < ! [ CDATA[ ]] > wrapper.
video		Youtube Video. Ex:hjYL18Zhb7A. This ID has been extracted from the URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjYL18Zhb7A

Additional fields can be included in the description.

HTML codes are not allowed in any field except for the tag '<br> '
