ERP DEVELOPER URGENTLY REQUIRED IN ISLAMABAD
This position is responsible for the specification, technical design, and development and testing of applications components to support the users of the ERP including customizations, modifications, reports and interface development. Will participate in planning upgrades to the next generation of ERP software. Duties & Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL: Conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of Ozitech, working effectively in a diverse work environment. Gains an understanding of the current Business Processes. Documents requirements and functional designs for small projects and reports. Meets with end users to analyzes business processes, understand requirements, and recommend technical solutions. Reviews and approves business requirements and functional documentation produced by staff and others. Develops custom solutions or integrations for projects of moderate risk and complexity in an ERP environment. Increases customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and delivery of quality products and services Produces and updates architecture, and technical documents for review and approval. Provides custom coding and testing of customized extensions to ERP when existing system functionality is deficient compared to business requirements Develops reports for ERP application report output or modifies existing reports using, Discover, Crystal reports, and XML Publisher. Assists other team members' with troubleshooting technical issues Triages and resolves software defects Creates unit testing plans and test scripts and thoroughly tests all software, interfaces and systems Documents all operational and functional information necessary for deployment Provides technical application support in a 24/7 environment for all ERP modules in a production environment and during enhancement and upgrade projects. Works help tickets as assigned. Stays current with evolving technologies. Reports, tracks and communicates status and issues, based on departmental defined reporting templates. OTHER: All other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in computer Science or related field Hands-on experience with developing on any ERP Solution with some of the following modules: Payroll, Human Resources (HR), Recruitment, Financials Management, Sales, Purchasing, Order Management, Working knowledge of Cold fusion 9 will be an added benefit. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Working knowledge of database concepts General knowledge of Workflows and Working knowledge of version control systems like CSS, Subversion Working knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or XML Publisher Knowledge of software life-cycles Working Knowledge of Microsoft windows tools including VISIO Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with internal and external clients, peers, management and cross-functional areas, and to create technical documentation Ability to manage time effectively, to work under time pressure, to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments, and to pay close attention to detail Ability to rapidly learn new software and maintain competency with developing technologies. Ability to constantly seek and acquire knowledge of emerging technologies Ability to analyze Ability to troubleshoot Ability to use good judgment in evaluation and decision making.
